The Celtics responded with a surge of their own, but the Cavs refused to give up, clawing back to 100-95 and forcing Boston into its first official clutch of the playoffs.

Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Jaylen Brown also contributed 23 points, while Marcus Smart added 21. The Celtics shot 47% from the field and 39% from three-point range.
